Art Book

December 6, 2016

There is a sense in our culture of immense brokenness. It has been here a long time and some are waking up to its presence.  Many are uncomfortable with the term holy. Conversations, working beside each other toward a common purpose, artmaking and walks in the world are all ways we experience the existence of the holy. It doesn't need to mean a flying away, it is just as much a grounding. Making and sharing art are part of my process of reclaiming the place for the broken and the holy to be together in the world.

Inhabiting the world we bring a dimension of the holy and can recognize and honor it in others, people and plants, rocks, rivers and animals.

Even in the broken places.
